In January 2022, all Power Trading Centers across the nation completed 497.09TWh market traded electricity transactions, a year-on-year increase of 97.8%. Among them, the total amount of the medium and long-term direct traded electricity transactions was 336.94TWh, a year-on-year increase of 67.6%.
1. Electricity transactions of each Power Trading Center
In January 2022, all power trading centers across the nation completed 497.09TWh market traded electricity transactions, a year-on-year increase of 97.8%. The total amount of the electricity traded within the individual province (medium and long term only) was 415.20TWh, including 333.12TWh in direct trading transactions, 0.26TWh in green trading electricity, 76.85TWh in power grid agency power purchase, 4.48TWh in power generation right trading and 0.48TWh in other transactions. The total amount of the electricity transactions traded inter-provinces (medium, long-term and spot) was 81.90TWh, of which 3.82TWh was directly traded inter-provinces and 78.08TWh was delivered cross-provinces.
In January, the power trading centers in the service area of State Grid Corporation of China (SGCC) completed a total of 414.28TWh market traded electricity transactions, including 77.13TWh inter-provincial trading electricity completed by Beijing Power Trading Center. The power trading centers in the service area of China Southern Power Grid (CSG) completed 64.77TWh market traded electricity transactions, of which the total amount of the inter-provincial trading electricity completed by Guangzhou Power Trading Center was 4.30TWh. The Inner Mongolia Electric Power Trading Center completed 18.04TWh market traded electricity transactions.
2. Medium and long term direct traded electricity transactions
In January 2022, the total amount of the medium and long-term direct traded electricity transactions nationwide was 336.94TWh, a year-on-year increase of 67.6%. Among them, the total amount of the direct traded electricity transactions within the individual province was 333.12TWh, and the total amount of the direct traded (received) electricity transactions delivered cross-provinces was 3.82TWh.
