CEC Honored as the "National Advanced Social Organization" by the Ministry of Civil Affairs

January 13, 2022 /CEC/ - The “Resolution of the Ministry of Civil Affairs on Commending the National Advanced Social Organizations” (hereafter refereed as the “Resolution”) was officially released, and 281 social organizations including China Electricity Council (CEC) were awarded the honor of the "National Advanced Social Organization". It was another national honor of CEC after it was awarded the 5A-level social organization of the Ministry of Civil Affairs in March 2021.

According to the Resolution, the social organizations awarded made outstanding contributions in the process of building a moderately prosperous society in an all-round way, especially in the decisive battle for poverty alleviation and the prevention and control of the epidemic.

The “National Advanced Social Organization" was an important recognition in the field of social organizations in China. In order to give full play to the role of the advanced models, further promote the positive involvement of the social organizations and encourage them to make achievements in the new journey of realizing the second centenary goal, the Ministry of Civil Affairs launched this Selection and Commendation.

The China Electric Power Ideological and Political Work Research Institute recommended by CEC also participated in the mentioned Selection and won the title of "National Advanced Social Organization" as well.
