CEC Held the 2021 Training Course for Managers of Vocational Skill Appraisal in Power Industry in Haikou

December 31, 2021 /CEC/ - From December 28 to 30, 2021, the “2021 Training Course for Managers of Vocational Skill Evaluation in Power Industry was successfully held by China Electricity Council (CEC) in Haikou City, Hainan Province. Gang Yufeng, Member of the CPC Committee and Secretary of the Discipline Inspection Committee of CEC, attended the Opening of the Training Course and delivered the Welcome Note. Chen Weijun, the Director of the Vocational Skills Appraisal and Guidance Center of the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security and the Evaluation Department of China Employment Training and Guidance Center, attended the Training Course and gave a lecture. 230 delegates in charge of talent evaluation and management personnel from 134 power generation enterprises, provincial grid companies, provincial associations, vocational colleges, and private enterprises took the Training Course this time.

The Training Course focused on publicizing and implementing the national vocational qualification policies, analyzed the direction and tasks of the reform and development of the talent evaluation in the power industry, and interpreted the talent evaluation system, the skill level evaluation catalogue, the skill competition management, and the development and improvement of talent service platform in combination with the construction and transformation of talent evaluation system in the power industry. The content of the Training Course included not only the sessions for the policy publicity but also the networking. 

The trainees spoke highly of the training and believed that the training was accurate and timely in publicizing and implementing policies at the national and industrial levels, with high quality content and up-to-date information. Through the training, the trainees have a deeper understanding of the current talent evaluation policy and system, achieved the goal of mutual learning, exchange and improving management ability, laid a foundation for the continuous and smooth development of talent evaluation.
