Xin Baoan Attended CEPSI 2021 and Delivered a Speech

November 26, 2021 /China Power News/ - On November 25, the Conference of the Electricity Power Supply Industry (CEPSI) 2021, which lasted for three weeks, closed. Xin Baoan, the President of China Electricity Council (CEC) and Executive Chairman of State Grid Corporation of China, attended the Conference and delivered a closing speech by video. At the Conference, Xin Baoan officially took over as Chairman of AESIEAP from 2022 to 2023 on behalf of CEC.

Xin Baoan thanked the current Organizer Manila Electric Power Company of Philippines for its efforts in the organization of the Conference. He pointed out that the countries and regions in the Asia-Pacific region are connected by mountains and rivers geographically and integrated culturally, people here share the benefits together and understand each other. AESIEAP has been committed to promoting communications and cooperation among energy and power industries of the region, which is a win-win platform for mutual trust and joint efforts of all parties. Facing the future, AESIEAP will play a greater role.

Furthermore Xin Baoan expressed: “The Asia Pacific region recorded the strongest growth in energy production and consumption in the world. The installed capacity and annual power generation output in the Asia Pacific region are far ahead of other regions in the world, and the region is also the key market for the future global energy and power development. China is willing to strengthen communications, share experiences and develop pragmatic cooperation with its power counterparts in the Asia Pacific region and around the world for mutual benefit and win-win outcomes, jointly explore a new path of energy transformation and development, accelerate the construction of a clean, low-carbon, safe and efficient energy system, contribute to the green and sustainable development of the global energy and power industry, and the construction of a community with a shared future for mankind.”

At last Xin Baoan mentioned that true friendship brings people close however far apart they may be. As the leading Organizer of the upcoming AESIEAP events, CEC will remain true to the original aspiration of AESIEAP, shoulder the responsibility of facilitating regional cooperation, and try its best in the preparation of the AESIEAP events together with Chinese power enterprises. CEC looks forward greeting all the members of AESIEAP in China in 2022 and 2023.
