CEC Held the Member Meeting in Xinjiang

Sep 26, 2021/CEC/ - On September 17, jointly organized by CEC and the State Grid Xinjiang Electric Power Co., Ltd., a Round Table Meeting for the member companies in Xinjiang was successfully held in Urumqi. Hao Yingjie, the Secretary General of CEC and Zhong Yongtai, the Deputy General Manager of State Grid Xinjiang Electric Power Co., Ltd. attended the Meeting and delivered welcome notes. More than 30 representatives from the member companies in Xinjiang participated the meeting. During the stay in Xinjiang, Hao Yingjie and the CEC delegation also visited the Industrial Park of TBEA Co., Ltd.

On behalf of CEC, Hao Yingjie appreciated the member companies in Xinjiang for their long-term support and assistance. He mentioned that 2021 is the beginning year for the new management team starting its work in CEC. In order to better implement the strategy and plan of the new management team, CEC will deeply communicate with the member companies, to exchange the views and opinions and to provide more professional services to them.

At the meeting, CEC management team and the delegates discussed the latest hot topics in the power industry such as energy efficiency under the "Double Carbon" background, the development of clean energy, the contradiction between thermal power and clean energy consumption, and the safe power supply under dual control goal in Xinjiang area. CEC is expected to do more favor to assist and guide the member companies in Xinjiang in terms of the standardization and the construction of the New Type Power System.
