An Hongguang Attended the Hydrogen Energy Industry Development Forum & GCL Hydrogen Energy Strategic Plan Press Conference

Jul 29, 2021, Beijing /CEC/ - Guided by China Electricity Council (CEC) and organized by GCL (Group) Holdings Co., Ltd. (GCL), the Hydrogen Energy Industry Development Forum & GCL Hydrogen Energy Strategic Plan Press Conference was held in Beijing on Jul 29, 2021. Focusing on the nation’s goals of carbon peak and carbon neutralization, the Event launched in-depth discussions on the latest policy, technology, economic cost and relevant topics of hydrogen energy industry. An Hongguang, the Vice President of CEC, Wu Yin, the Vice President of China Energy Research Association and Former Deputy Director of National Energy Administration and Zhu Gongshan, the President of GCL Group, attended the Event and delivered the welcome notes.

Du Xiangwan, the Academician and Former Vice President of Chinese Academy of Engineering, Dawano Kedir, the Deputy Ambassador of Ethiopian Embassy in China, Mao Zongqiang, the Vice Chairman of International Hydrogen Energy Association and Professor of Tsinghua University, Wang Dongfang, Executive Vice General Manager of China Construction Investment Capital Management (Tianjin) Co., Ltd., made the keynotes respectively.

An Hongguang expressed: “The coupling of clean energy and hydrogen energy ensure the stable operation of electric power with a high proportion of clean energy and helped to solve the problems of the long-term balance between the clean energy and load demand，facilitating the decarbonlization of the industry sectors difficult to reduce emissions. The 14th-Five-Year Plan period will be critical to China's carbon peak strategies, will also be the period for the accelerated growth of hydrogen energy industry, the cultivation of hydrogen energy market and the catch-up development of the hydrogen energy technology. 

Onsite at the Event, GCL New Energy officially unveiled its hydrogen energy strategic plan. About 300 delegates from Chinese and foreign energy enterprises, industry related organizations, industry chain related enterprises and media participated the Event. More than 5 million people attended the event online.
