CEC Delegation Met the Inner Mongolian Members

July 05, 2021, Huhhot /CEC/ - On July 5, CEC delegation met the Inner Mongolian members of CEC in Huhhot, Inner Mongolia. The Meeting was jointly organized by the Inner Mongolia Electric Power Association (IMEPA) and moderated by Zhang Lisheng, the Secretary General of IMEPA. Hao Yingjie, the Secretary General of CEC and Yan Linsheng, the Director of PR and Communication Department, Inner Mongolia Power (Group) Co., Ltd made the welcome notes at the beginning of the Meeting. More than 40 delegates from the local members as well as some partners from energy enterprises attended the Meeting. 

Hao Yingjie, on behalf of CEC, welcomed the participants and expressed the sincere gratitude to the local members and partners for their long-term support and assistance: “For the new appointed CEC management team, it is important to communicate with the local members directly and to introduce the missions and visions, strategies and action plans of the new term of CEC management team. In the following years, CEC will keep sharing its industrial information and statistics, professional insights and views with the local members and partners for providing high-quality platform services to the Inner Mongolian members.”

Shen Lianyuan, the Deputy Director General of CEC Membership and Enterprise Culture Department, presented the latest status of the member activities and services. Li Xian, the Deputy Director General of the Power Project Quality Supervision Department, and Cai Yiqing, the Deputy Director General of the Electric Power Evaluation & Consulting Institute, introduced the relevant business sectors of CEC respectively. During the Meeting, the speakers and the delegates conducted an in-depth communication and put forward their opinions and suggestions on the current hot issues in the power industry, including the balancing  of thermal power generation output and new energy consumption, the operating difficulties of thermal power companies, the rise of coal prices and etc.

After the Meeting, Hao Yingjie led the CEC delegation to visit the Inner Mongolia Power (Group) Co., Ltd. (IMP), and the Northern United Power Co. (NUP), Ltd. The two member companies introduced their power plants and relevant facilities to the delegation, which presented more details of their latest development status about the safety management, multilateral power trading, clean energy development, scientific research and achievements.
