CEC Held the Staff Meeting in Beijing

Beijing, May 14, 2021/CEC/ - China Electricity Council (CEC) held the Staff Meeting on May 14, 2021 in Beijing. Xin Baoan, the President of CEC and the President of the State Grid Cooperation of China (State Grid) participated the Meeting and made speech. Yang Kun, the Executive President of CEC moderated the Meeting and introduced the main content of the 7th National Assembly of CEC. Xia Zhong and An Hongguang, the two Vice Presidents and Hao Yingjie, the Secretary-General of CEC were present at the Meeting as well.

At the Meeting, Xin Baoan expressed that the electricity safety plays the more and more important role in the country and energy security fields in accordance to the nation’s 14th Five-Year Plan. All CEC staff should adapt to this “new normal”and try the best to accelerate the transformation and development of the power industry to achieve the nation’s targets of carbon peak and carbon neutrality. Moreover, at present and future, the main strategies of CEC would be: 

- to accelerate the power industry to achieve the nation’s carbon peak and carbon neutrality targets

- to benchmark the world-class instructions and organizations and to build up CEC as the leading industry association in China and abroad. 

- to be the think tank for the government and the power industry and provide the high-quality services to the members. 

All the staff of CEC attended the Meeting and this is the first one held in 2021 after the 7th National Assembly of CEC.
