On the afternoon of November 30, the China-Japan Joint Committee Technical Workshop 2020 hosted by China Electricity Council and Japan Coal Energy Center (JCOAL) was successfully held. Through online video conferences, about 70 experts from China and Japan participated in the workshop. Representatives from Japan's New Energy and Industrial Technology Development Organization (NEDO) and Chinese enterprises attended the meeting.
Focusing on energy-saving and environmental protection technologies such as frequency conversion renovation, zero discharge of waste water, coal ash comprehensive utilization and flue gas detection, Toshiba Mitsubishi-Electric Industrial Systems Corporation and other Japanese enterprises introduced cutting edge technology from Japan. Representatives from China Datang Corporation, China Huadian Corporation and the State Power Investment Cooperation had in-depth exchanges with the Japanese side.
During the question-and-interaction session, the enterprises of both parties had a heated discussion on technical highlights, practical application scenarios, related policy support, and problems encountered by each in the process of technology research and development.
