Energy storage standardization information platform officially released

On October 13, China Electricity Council organized a conference on the official release of the energy storage standardization information platform. Wang Zhixuan, Vice President of China Electricity Council delivered a speech on the meeting. Relevant representatives of the National Energy Administration and more than 30 delegates from power companies, research institutions, industry associations and other parties attended the meeting.

The energy storage standardization information platform and its WeChat official account were introduced and released on the meeting. The platform is positioned as the supplement and extension of the standardization administration platform of the national energy administration. It is used to publicize the policy and standardization documents of the government authorities related to the energy storage. It focuses on the information of the standardization institutions and technical committees in the field of energy storage, and makes public the energy storage standard system, standard catalogue and information of plans under preparation. The platform covers a comprehensive range in the field of energy storage, with representative participants and open operating mechanism, which will effectively promote the sustainable development of energy storage standardization.

At the meeting, China Electricity Council, China Electrical Equipment Industry Association, Electric Power Planning and Engineering Institute, China Renewable Energy Engineering Institute, China Energy Storage Alliance, China Industrial Association of Power Sources and other industry standardization organizations jointly signed the "Energy Storage Standardization Information Platform Information Submission Convention."

At present, the construction of energy storage standardization information platform has been completed, including seven modules: “organization”, “policy documents”, “standards disclosure”, “standardization dynamics”, “industry dynamics”, “standard implementation feedback”, and “about us”. "Energy storage standardization" WeChat official account went online synchronously, including practical reference, development trends and comprehensive information.
