In the special period when the whole nation is struggling to win the battle against the epidemic, CEC launched the online courses of the talent development & service platform for the power industry on February 20, 2020. These courses are open to electric power industry free of charge during the epidemic.
Since the launch of the platform, several organizations and personnel including North China Electric Power University, SGCC EV Service Co., Ltd. and IMA provided abundant curriculum resources. As of March 3, 2020, the online courses have increased from 150 to 395, with a total course duration of more than 14,952 minutes. These courses cover the construction and operation and inspection of electric power engineering, operation and maintenance technology of power transmission and distribution, electric power operation of tools and instruments, enterprise and project management, BIM design, AI and big data technology, tax policy during COVID-19, and nearly 1000 people sign in the platform to study every day. CEC Talent Assessment Center is willing to work with the broad masses in power industry to overcome the difficulties and help them to improve their vocational skills and achieve "fight against COVID-19 and keep learning".
