Liu Zhenya,President of CEC,President of SGCC ,visited  Republic democracy du Congo (RDC)and The Republic of Congo in last week. During in the RDC,Liu held talks with Prime Minister Bruno and Minister of Energy Ifoto.During in the Republic of Congo,Liu had meeting with President Denis and Prime Minister Clement.

Liu Zhenya pointed out that the lower reaches of the Congo River are the most abundant areas of the world's hydropower resources, with a total installed capacity of 110 million kilowatts after development. For a long time, Congo River hydropower and African mineral resources development are faced with the lack of funds, lack of market, lack of technology.On the one hand, there is a serious shortage of electricity, on the other hand, water resources are lost, these questions already were serious have restricted the national economy and society's development.

The Prime Minister Bruno said, Africa's natural and mineral resources development need electricity support. The government will actively support African energy interconnection and cross-border transportation of electricity.

The President of Republic of Congo said, Republic of Congo has a profound friendship with China. Energy and power are important areas for cooperation between the two countries. Chinese companies are welcome to invest in Congo to contribute to the economic and social development of Congo. The Prime Minister Clement said, China has made important breakthroughs in the field of UHV transmission, which provides technical possibilities for Africa to achieve cross-border power transmission.
