17th International Exhibition on Electric Power Equipment and Technology Opened in Beijing

15th,October,The 40th anniversary of the reform and opening up and the 17th international exhibition on electic power equipment and technology opened in China International Exhibition Center.The purpose is to vigorously publicize the achievements of China's electric power development in the past 40 years, to sum up the experience of China's electric power development in the past 40 years, to comprehensively analyze the new situation faced by China's electric power development, to explore the new ideas of China's electric power development, and to actively promote the construction of a clean, low-carbon, safe and efficient modern energy system.

The organizers are China Electricty Council Science and Technology Decelopment Service Center,China Council for the Promtion of International Trade,Electric Power Industry Office and so on.

In a speech commemorating the 40th anniversary of the reform and opening up of the power industry summit, Liu Zhenya, chairman of the China Electricity Council, pointed out that over the past 40 years, China's power industry has achieved leap-forward development and provided strong protection for economic and social development;China's power industry adheres to efficient and clean energy development, and made outstanding contributions to the construction of ecological civilization and coping with climate change. Over the 40 years, the power companies have continuously improved their management level and actively “going out”, playing an important role in serving the national strategy; In the historical period, China's power industry must unswervingly follow the path of green and low-carbon, actively promote the construction of ecological civilization and sustainable development; unswervingly deepen the road of reform, accelerate the transformation of power development mode and institutional mechanism; Take the road of open cooperation, vigorously promote the "Belt and Road" and the construction of global energy Internet; firmly adhere to the road of innovation and development, and vigorously strengthen scientific and technological research and personnel training.

The 40th Anniversary of Reform and Opening up has demonstrated the development and achievements of China's power industry. It consists of four parts: power industry achievement exhibition area, power industry culture exhibition area, CEC exhibition area, and power enterprise display area.

The 17th International  Exhibition on Electric Power Equipment and Technology held in conjunction with the 40th Anniversary of Reform and Opening Up Achievements Exhibition has more than 1,000 power equipment companies from more than 20 countries around the world, with an exhibition area of 50,000 square meters, and will hold a diplomatic envoy in China.
