China National Energy Administration has organized, evaluated and announced the first batch of projects for major technical equipment in energy sector to the public recently. The first batch of 26 projects was carefully selected from 137 applied candidates which target at catering for the vital needs of energy development. These projects include:
11 projects that aim to improve the underdeveloped technical equipment, such as the localization of coal-fired power stations DCS (including chips), gas turbine thermal components and control system, large generator circuit breaker, etc.;
7 projects that aim to build on the technical advantages of equipment in the long run, such as the vertical axis offshore wind turbine, heterojunction solar cell production line, clean and high efficient coal-fired generation; high voltage electrical switchgear, etc.;
6 projects for developing technical equipment to support major power engineering constructions, such as UHV power transmission, complete set for flexible direct current transmission projects, etc.;
2 projects for the digitization and intelligentization upgrades of power equipment, such as Internet of Things platform for coal, unmanned driving system for mine rail locomotive.
In the next step, NEA will work on to promote the demonstration and application of such projects together with relevant departments.
