State Grid Sees Fruitful Deliverables From 3rd China International Import Expo

State Grid reaped fruitful deliverables during the third China International Import Expo (CIIE). The company signed 18 letters of intent with 16 suppliers from nine countries, deepening win-win cooperation in high-end equipment, key technologies, and energy services.

Facing the global pandemic and complex economic situation, State Grid properly organized its participation in CIIE while containing the COVID-19. Its representatives attended the opening ceremony, the Hongqiao International Economic Forum, and side events. On the morning of November 6, the company held a signing ceremony involving five of its subsidiaries. Shandong Electrical Engineering & Equipment Group. and State Grid General Aviation Co., Ltd., signed letters of intent with Hitachi ABB Power Grids, Bell Helicopter, and other partners to boost all-round development in terms of technology, equipment, management, and brand. Over 300 visitors from State Grid attended the Expo for possible procurement.

During the event, State Grid held talks with strategic partners. Its participation in the previous Expo has created spillover effect: outcomes of technical cooperation have been applied to UHV projects, grid operation and maintenance, new energy utilization and other areas, forging favorable environment for foreign equipment manufacturers to further develop Chinese market.
