New Records of Non-stop Operation in CHD's Bali Power Plant

Since the completion of a minor-overhaul on 7th May 2019, units #1 and #2 of Indonesia Bali 3 *142MW Coal-Fired Power Plant constructed by CHD have been running securely for a full calendar year until 6th May 2020. Unit #3 had been switched to standby mode upon dispatch order given by PLN on 1st May 2020, but had nevertheless completed a year-round operation. The equivalent availability factor of all units stands above 95%, reaching the plant's historical high in both of the indices.

Since last year, the Plant management has optimized its organizational structures, enhanced the operation and maintenance  control and coordination, consolidated production management mechanism, and secured supply of spare parts. All these works had effectively minimized operation risks of the Plant. Based on the standard production protocol, the Management has also evaluated the operation and maintenance  works in line with operation data. "Operation with Precision" has been the emphasis of safe and secure production at the plant.

Due to the COVID-19 outbreak, around 1/3 Chinese employees of the Project Company and Operation Company were unable to return to their positions, yet both companies managed to maintain production in parallel with fighting the virus. To date, no positive or suspected cases had been discovered at the Plant. All units of the plant are steadily operating under low load condition.
