According to industry statistics, nation-wide newly installed capacity of wind in 2019 was 25.74 GW. Of this, new installations of on-shore wind power was 23.76 GW, new installations of off-shore wind power was 1.98 GW. The cumulative installed capacity of wind power generation reached 210 GW,of this, cumulative capacity of on-shore wind power reached 204 GW, cumulative capacity of off-shore wind power reached 6 GW. Total wind power generation reached 405.7 TWh in 2019 exceeding 400 TWh for the first time, accounting for 5.5% of the total power generation.
The average productivity of wind reached 2082 full-load hours, nationwide curtailment of wind fell to 4%, a year-on-year decrease of 3 percentage point, with total curtailment of wind power of 16.9 TWh.
