Hemenkou Bridge Construction Completed and Expected to Open in Q1 2019

Hemenkou Bridge, which lies 6 km at the upstream of the Wudongde Project, was completed upon joining of all segments on Dec 23.

Stretching across the Jinsha River and connecting up the two provinces of Sichuan and Yunnan, this new passage will great facilitate people’s life and transportation in surrounding areas.

With a total investment of RMB 130 million, the bridge will be handed over to the local authority for operation upon completion. The bridge is expected to open to traffic in the first quarter of 2019.

''We will spend only half as much time as it is now traveling from Huili County, Liangshan, Sichuan Province to Kunming, Yunnan Province, with the completion of the bridge,''said the head of Transportation from the Wudongde Project Construction Department.
