CHD's Largest Overseas Hydropower Project Completed and Put into Operation
On December 28, unit No.4(66MW) of China Huadian Lower Stung Russei Chrum Downstream Hydropower Station in Cambodia passed trial operation and formally put into power generation, marked the total 338MW (2X103MW+2X66MW) of Huadian's largest overseas hydropower project —Lower Stung Russei Chrum Hydropower Station in Cambodia completed.
Lower Stung Russei Chrum Downstream Hydropower Station is a key project to implement the strategy of "Going Global", is also the group company's biggest hydropower project construction overseas and as well as in Cambodia. The power station consists of two levels of four units, with a total installed capacity of 338MW, designed annual output 1.19 billion KWH. On September 30, 2013, unit 1 was implementation and unit 2, on October 25, become the iconic unit of group company's hydropower installed over 20000MW. On December 25 and 28, unit 3 and 4 were put into production respectively.
The four units of the downstream hydropower station successfully implemented in 2013, is a milestone of the construction of the group company's overseas power investment, is an important achievements of bilateral cooperation, will play an important role in
the local economic and social development in Cambodia.
