CEC Standardizaton and International Standards

1.CEC Standardizaton
By the end of 2016, a total of 5 professional standardization technical committees of CEC have been approved to establish. These committees include: Distribution Network Planning and Design, Power Transmission and Transformation material, Pumped Storage, Waste-to-Energy Generation and DC Distribution. A list of CEC standardization technical committees is shown in Table1.

CEC has released 45 standards covering energy interconnection, electric vehicle charging facility interconnection, solar power generation, power distribution, energy management, power metering and hydropower construction, playing a positive role in regulating technical behavior in related fields. In 2016, CEC standards formulated and released covered the following areas are shewn in Table 2.

2.International Standards
In order to support the implementation of Going Out strategy of power industry and to serve power companies, CEC actively organizes the translation of power standards into English version.
With the joint participation of SGCC, CSG and the top five power generation corporations, a total of 253 power standards have been translated into English, thus preliminary establishing a system
of English standards. The system could basically meet the needs of power companies which require English translation of Chinese standards in overseas construction projects.International standards led by China are shown in Table 3.
