Meng Zhenping Meets with Hui Ka Yan

CSG Industry Investment Group and Evergrande High-Tech Group signed a framework agreement on strategic cooperation

Guangzhou - Meng Zhenping, Board Chairman of China Southern Power Grid, recently held talks with Hui Ka Yan, Board Chairman of Evergrande Group and his attending party.
Attendees included Zhang Wenfeng, Vice President of CSG and Liang Weikang, Vice President of Evergrande Group and Executive Vice President of Evergrande Real Estate.
Mr. Meng extended his sincere welcome to Mr. Hui and his colleagues and briefed them on new energy business of China Southern Power Grid.
Mr. Meng said that, “following the decision and deployment of the Party Central Committee, CSG has stepped up its investment in and construction of electric vehicles (EVs) charging infrastructure. The objective was to build a uniform charging platform for the five southern provinces (regions).”
Mr. Meng added that, “it was hoped that both sides could take their own advantages for the common goal of upgrading EVs charging networks, expanding the charging service, and innovating the service, technology, and business model of EVs charging.”
Concurrently, China Southern Power Grid has been exploring its cooperation with Evergrande in areas such as smart energy service, smart community, replacement of fuel vehicles (FVs) with EVs, upgrade and extension of urban space function and mixed-ownership reform.
Mr. Hui expressed his deep appreciation to CSG for its support for Evergrande and underlined their development in new energy vehicles (NEVs).
He expressed his hope of achieving win-win cooperation with China Southern Power Grid, pushing for the development of smart energy services, smart home and smart community development through NEVs service, community charging service, smart energy use in communities and urban upgrades.
At the conclusion of the joint discussions, representatives from the CSG Industry Investment Group and Evergrande High-Tech Group signed a framework agreement on strategic cooperation.
According to the agreement, the two sides will cooperate in EVs charging service, smart energy service and other relevant areas.
