CSG Dramatically Ramps-up Power Grid Engineering Projects

Guangzhou - Throughout the month of April 2020, China Southern Power Grid  senior managers have given the green light to ramp up all Company-approved engineering projects with more than 13,800 infrastructure projects being resumed or commenced.
By April 13 the total number of projects have been increased 106% (7,000 additional projects) compared with that of the previous month.
On-site workers tallied more than 129,000, up by 176% as the Company hired 82,500 new staff. CSG's full resumption of work and production has also mirrored  that of other enterprises in the industrial chain.
According to the Infrastructure Department of China Southern Power Grid, major projects have already made remarkable progress, including the Kunliulong DC Transmission Line Project and Yunnan-Guizhou Interconnection Project. Construction of these projects has picked up steam to compensate for the delay of one and a half months caused by the COVID-19 outbreak.
CSG will, with the same degree of caution and effort against the pandemic, ensure the accomplishment of its annual infrastructure targets and, in turn, make lasting contributions to the national economy by speeding up projects aimed at poverty alleviation and establishment of smart grids.
