CSG’s Staff View Centenary Ceremony of the CPC

Beijing - On the morning of July 1, the Centenary Ceremony of the Communist Party of China (CPC) was held at Tiananmen Square in Beijing.

On this exciting day, all staff of China Southern Power Grid watched the Ceremony to celebrate the Centenary of the Party at various venues including the CSG conference room, the team, the worksite and the field, through television, network, new media and various ways.

 “I am very excited, because President Xi Jinpin said that we had built a moderately prosperous society in all respects in China. As a poverty alleviation cadre, I feel immensely honored to be here to witness this great moment,” said Wu Changbi, assistant manager of China Southern Power Grid in Yiliang County, Zhaotong City of Yunnan Province, an advanced individual in poverty alleviation.

All Departments Organized Ceremony Viewing

CSG Peak and Frequency Regulation Company organized staff to watch the ceremony together.

Front-line researchers of the CSG Research Institute view the Centenary Ceremony at the National Key DC Transmission Laboratory.

The Xishuangbanna Power Supply Bureau of the Yunnan Power Grid Company organized workers in Section 6 of the External Power Supply Project of the China Section of the China-Laos Railway to watch the Ceremony in the Project Department.

Watching While Working

Wang Bingyi and Xu Dejun watch the Ceremony at home with the Miao people in Pangbei Village, Xinghua Township, Rongjiang County, Guizhou City via smart phone.

Staff from the CSG Menghai Power Supply Bureau in Xishuangbanna City, Yunnan Province organized service personnel to examine electricity security the villagers’ homes in Manban Team 3 of Bulongshan Township. CSG personnel were then invited by the villagers to watch the Ceremony together.

As the First Secretary of the Village Party Committee, I was encouraged and excited when President Xi announced to the world that we had built a moderately prosperous society in all respects. For example, Lindong Village has now also gotten rid of poverty with our assistance.

The once impoverished households have all become agricultural and workshop technicians. In the next work of rural vitalization, we cadres working for poverty alleviation will continue to be diligent, work hard, consolidate the gains of poverty alleviation and establish a solid basis of subsequent rural vitalization.

CSG Pingxiang Power Supply Bureau in Chongzuo City, Guangxi Province

We, the national flag patrol team have responded to the clarion call of the Party to always be with the people and build power supply grids in Pingxiang to match its high-speed development and support its ports economic growth.

We will do our best in examining the power grids in the border area, serving villages, primary schools and frontier forces to solve their problems in electricity use. We are dedicated to bringing them a better life to inhabitants living in the border area, which shows the qualities of Party members.

After listening to the speech of President Xi, I am proud to be Chinese and understand my responsibility as a Party member. When watching the Centenary Ceremony of the Party, we stood to salute our beloved flag, sang the March of the Volunteers - China’s national anthem - and listened to the speech of League members and Young Pioneers. When President Xi said, “long live our great, glorious, and correct Party”, I was moved to tears.

Last time when I attended the 18th League Congress in the Great Hall of the People, I also had such deep feelings. As one of the new and young generation within China Southern Power Grid, I offer a sacred promise to the Party that I will adhere to the Party and give priority to my own work.

I pledge to be bold in blazing new trails, be hard-working and regard the rejuvenation of the Chinese nation as my duty. I will continue to promote our glorious traditions and sustain our revolutionary legacy with my wisdom.

As a member of democratic parties, I was very excited to listen to the speech of President Xi. The Party is united and will lead the Chinese people in writing the most magnificent chapter in the millennia-long history of the Chinese nation.

After watching the Centenary Ceremony of the Party, I was too excited to calm down. As a Party member, I take great pride of the great achievements of the Party in the past 100 years … and I am also aware of the great responsibility ahead. China Southern Power Gird Management Platform will see a trial run soon.
