CSG Gives More Priority to EVCI Construction

On October 28, CSG hosted a video conference on building more EVCI. (Electric Vehicle Charging Infrastructure)The conference highlighted the need and implementation of CSG Plan on Building More EVCI. Since 2011, CSG has worked very hard on EVCI and the results have been remarkable. In 2015, the State Council, the National Development and Reform Commission and the National Energy Administration issued a guidance on building more EVCI. CSG implemented measures in accordance with central government policies, worked out its own plan and set up a steering commission and a taskforce. Cao Zhi’an, CSG president, chairs the team and He Xiqiang, CSG Vice President, works as his deputy.

Vice President He Xiqiang attended the meeting and delivered remarks. The conference required all affiliates and institutions to support the initiative, provide the service and follow the decisions of the State Council. As a central enterprise, CSG should take its political, economic and social responsibilities and make headway in EVCI manufacturing.

According to the Plan, CSG will adhere to the work requirements and follow the principle of overall planning, take in- advance actions and being innovative. CSG needs to do a good job in supporting grid investments and electricity for business expanding. In addition, CSG needs to invest in four areas in key cities, including EVCI, inter-city fast charging network, in-house EVCI and smart charging. The the company's industrial chain, value chain and service chain will be extended. From 2015 to 2016, CSG will build at least 1 demonstration point for EVCI in the 17 key cities in the its service area. Priorities will be given to the Pearl River Delta region and Hainan so that inter-city fast charging network will be connected.

The department heads of Marketing Department, Planning Department, Equipment Department, Infrastructure Department, Department of Materials attended the main conference. The marketing executives from CSG’s subsidiaries and institutions attended the parallel sessions.
