CSG ensures power supply to Bo’ao Forum for Asia Annual Conference

2015 Bo’ao Forum for Asia Annual Conference ( BFA)and state functions held at Qionghai city and Sanya City, Hainan Province on 26-29, March, 2015. CSG attached high priority to the event and took solid measures to ensure power supply with the highest standard.

A number of measures adopted by CSG included: 1) Formulate an optimized system operation plan for BFA, identify operation risks and solutions, plan power grid operation mode. Strive a balance between power supply and total power, coordinate with local power plants to ensure gas-based power generation at peak hours, reinforce operation and maintenance of power generation units.2) Continuously optimize power grid structure, and make every effort to put key supporting projects ( namely, 220 KV Taiyang power transmission and substation project, 110 KV Futian power transmission and substation project) with a total investment of RMB 335 million into operation before the BFA launch. 3) Make specific measures to ensure power supply and breakdown the BFA power supply task into 50 sub-projects. Make specific plans on plan formulation, emergency response, systematic operation and maintenance, equipment defects elimination, safety assessment, material preparation, anti-terrorism measures. Conduct jointed emergency drills to test power supply capability to key BFA venues, hotels, airports, high-speed railway traction stations, railway stations, Hainan CPC ,Hainan Provincial Government, media organizations. 4) Conduct in-advance risk analysis to key venues and public areas with high people flow density, assist clients to pre-test and eliminate defects of electrical equipments to ensure a smooth equipment operation. At present, CSG has concluded 1st round of power check and safety risk analysis to 67 key clients at Qionghai and Sanya, and has urged clients to take remediation measures. 5) CSG shall support Hainan Power Grid by 500 KV Hainan Interconnection project in the BFA .
