CSG Hosts the GO15 Digital Power Grid Webinar

Guangzhou – On December 10, senior staff from China Southern Power Grid played host to the GO15 Digital Power Grid Webinar.
The webinar received positive response from GO15 Secretariat and its member units. This online meeting saw an unprecedentedly large scale with the presence of about 50 international experts from 13 member units of GO15 in Italy, India, Russia, Japan, Korea, the United States and other countries and regions.
GO15 was founded in Year 2009 and now it has 17 member units, aiming at providing a platform for the management and technology communication of power grids around the world. GO15 is devoted to promoting the sharing of advanced management and technology experience among its members and the discussion of solutions to problems of energy development. GO15 is one of the grid organizations having the closest partnership with power grid enterprises around the globe. In Year 2012, CSG officially acceded to GO15.
This webinar was presided over by the technology officials of the GO15 Secretariat.
During the online meeting, CSG senior representatives first played a promotional video of the digital power grid and then introduced the concept of digital power grid and the standardization of technology in digital power grid.
They also showed the fruits of CSG's construction of digital power grids in terms of power grid digitalization, enterprise digitalization, digital technology platform and achievements of the digital industry.
International experts attending the webinar also discussed with other participants the digital solutions of renewable energy grid connection and the development direction of digital power grid.
Bruno Meyer, Secretary General of GO15, acclaimed the success of this webinar for it, “comprehensively demonstrated the brilliant work of CSG in digital transformation.”
Mr. Meyer also spoke highly of CSG's professionalism in the organization and planning of the meeting. He expressed his hopes that by, “promoting international communication and cooperation among GO15 members, they could boost technology development in the energy field and achieve win-win results.”
The Digital Power Grid Webinar theme was directed at publicizing CSG's brand of digital power grid, enhancing its international influence and promoting communication with international counterparts.
Principals of CSG's International Cooperation Dept., Digitalization Dept., Technology Dept., DGRI, Energy Development Research Institute and other departments and subsidiaries were all present at the on-line meeting.
