Shenzhen - On Wednesday May 13, China Southern Power Grid and the Shenzhen Government inked a new “Strategic Framework Agreement of Deepening Comprehensive Cooperation for A New Era.”
Guided by President Xi Jinping's Thought on Socialism with Chinese characteristics for a new era, both sides have pledged to follow the overall goal of constructing Shenzhen as a pilot demonstration area of Socialism with Chinese characteristics, deepen comprehensive cooperation and promote a world-class power grid construction which is expected to build Shenzhen as a leading international city with great competitiveness, creativity and influence.
According to this new partnership agreement, both sides have agreed to
deepen comprehensive cooperation in four aspects:
·Construction of a leading area for high-quality power grid development
·Establishing a demonstrative legal system for power supply and consumption
·Building a benchmark of modernized power supply service system, and
·Promoting energy sustainability.
The agreement is expected to expedite building an efficient smart power grid to support Shenzhen in the construction of the Greater Bay Area and the pilot demonstration area of Socialism with Chinese characteristics.
