CSG Vice President Wang Jiuling attends the 2nd Board Meeting of GO15 2015

On September 16 to 18, Mr. Wang Jiuling, Vice President of CSG attended the 2nd Board Meeting and the 3rd Committee Chairman Conference of GO15 2015, and Wang Lin, Deputy Director of CSG International Department, attended the 2nd Public Relations Group Conference of GO15 2015. The Meeting was convened in Rome by an Italian energy company Terna S.p.A. - Rete Elettrica Nazionale. Attendees included Daniel Dobbeni, Rotating President of GO15 2015, Alain Steven, Secretary General of GO15, and 42 representatives from 18 international power grid operators.

Since the accession into the GO15 in April 2012, CSG has won a good reputation for actively participating in all levels of technical and managerial meetings, and presenting the advantages and rich experience in the management techniques of operating a large-scale power grid. At the invitation of the Secretariat of GO15, CSG organized the GO15 2014 Annual Meeting and celebrated GO15’s 10th Anniversary in Guangzhou, China. Leaders of CSG were present and delivered speeches. The successful organization of the meeting earned CSG high reputations among the committee and other members, which as well empowered and promoted CSG to be more influential in GO15. At the Annual Forum and Meeting 2014, CSG was elected 2015 Vice-President Unit, and Wang Jiuling, CSG Vice President elected 2015 Rotating Vice President of GO15. According to the rotating rules, Mr. Wang Jiuling will serve as GO15 rotating President and CSG will assume the presidency in 2016.

During the Board Meeting, Mr. Wang Jiuling debriefed five technical committees, and discussed with the Secretariat of GO15 and CEO representatives on issues including future demand and development orientation of power grids, as well as on CSG’s preparation for being the 2016 President of GO15.
