Cao Zhi’an Meets Mrs. Yuen of CLP Power Hong Kong Ltd.

Guangzhou - Cao Zhi’an, President and Board Director of China Southern Power Grid recently met with Mrs. Yuen So Siu Mai Betty, Director of China Light and Power Group (CLP) and Vice Chairman of CLP Power Hong Kong Ltd., and her delegation.
Both sides aired their views on the construction of Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and power cooperation.
Mrs. Yuen was appointed as the Vice Chairman of CLP Power Hong Kong Ltd., in 2010, with a primary focus on the strategic direction of the Group’s electricity business in Hong Kong and China.
Mr. Cao welcomed Mrs. Yuen and her delegation and briefed them on CSG’s latest business operations. He said that after the official issue of “Outline Development Plan for Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area”, CSG will “respond to the call of the Central Government and contribute to the Greater Bay Area.”
Mr. Cao added that at the same time, “CSG will seize this opportunity to become stronger and better and explore new growth engines.”
He also hoped that both sides, “will further promote cooperation in serving the Greater Bay Area, increasing pilot power distribution networks, and expanding international business.”
Mrs. Yuen expressed her gratitude to CSG for its continuous support all the way. She hoped that “with a good foundation, both sides can strengthen cooperation for mutual benefits in the following areas: optimizing energy structure of the Greater Bay Area; integrating power source, power grid, load and energy storage; smart power utilization and reform of mixed ownership.”
