Shenzhen - Bi Yaxiong, Deputy General Manager, China Southern Power Grid was in attendance at the recent 4th East Asia Summit Clean Energy Forum, held here.
The East Asia Summit is a high-end platform for the dialogue of Asian regional economic cooperation concurrently held with the ASEAN Summit.
Mr. Bi held private talks with Mr. Kamani Intila, Minister of Energy and Minerals of the Ministry of Energy and Mr. Wu Hanzhou, Deputy Director of the Planning Department of the Ministry of Electricity and Energy of Myanmar.
During his keynote address to the 4th East Asia Summit Clean Energy Forum, Mr. Bi said, “China Southern Power Grid has been actively implementing the ‘four revolutions, one corporation’ new energy strategy to help build a clean, low carbon, safe and efficient modern energy system.”
He added that in recent years, “CSG has been actively responding to the clarion call to action from the nation, under the framework of the ‘Belt and Road Initiative’, and the China-ASEAN New Energy and Renewable Energy Cooperation Action Plan to provide a “road map” to the professional role the industry plays in all forms of society.”
Mr. Bi said that China Southern Power Grid, “continues to take a leadership role in promoting the strength of the South Network in the power cooperation mechanism between Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Greater Bay Area, Lancang-Mekong as well all ASEAN countries.
