Shi Zhengjiang Attends 22nd CEPSI Conference

Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia - The 22nd Conference of the Electric Power Supply Industry (CEPSI) was recently held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Shi Zhengjiang, Vice President of China Southern Power Grid was invited to attend the conference as more than 2,000 delegates from more than 30 countries and regions and 40 international organizations were in attendance.

Mahathir bin Mohamad, Prime Minister of Malaysia attended the conference and delivered the keynote address.

During the conference, Mr. Shi met with 12 authors from CSG, who were invited to attend the paper presentation session of the conference.

He explained that CSG, “attaches great importance to the training of international talents, encourages outstanding staff to participate in international conferences and exhibitions so as to raise the corporate profile and extend the influence of CSG.”

He went on to encourage everyone to make persistent efforts to display the international image and build-up the international brand of CSG.

At the conference, the paper entitled “The Analysis Technology of Historical Switch for Pumped Storage Power Station” by Zhang Hao, a staff member of the CSG Power Generation Company, earned the Best Paper Author Award, and he was the only Chinese winner at this conference.

The conference received 550 papers of which 180 papers were selected for presentation and the organizing committee selected eight outstanding papers for consideration for the Best Paper Author Award.
