Bi Yaxiong Attends CSG-GE Technical Exchange & Promotion Conference

Guangzhou - China Southern Power Grid (CSG) recently held a technical exchange and promotional conference with General Electricity Company (GE) regarding hydropower and power grid developments.

Mr. Bi Yaxiong, CSG’s Vice President, attended the conference and delivered his remarks, saying “CSG has always adhered to the innovation-driven development strategy, improved technology system and mechanism and tackled main difficulties by focusing on grid construction operation and management. China Southern Power Grid has become one of the most advanced and ‘green grids’ in the world”.

Mr. Bi shared his desire that both China Southern Power Grid and General Electric would further cooperate and provide mutually beneficial exchanges to promote green and innovation-driven grid development and energy transformation.

Mr. Zheng Zonggong, General Manager, GE Hydropower China and Mr. Zubin Postwalla, Marketing Leader - China, East Asia & Pacific, GE Grid Solutions also commented on their shared desire to establish cooperation in new energy and energy reserves.

During the conference, international experts, including Ms. Maryse Francois, Hydrotechnology Leader, GE Renewable Energy, shared GE’s latest hydropower technology and the latest applications of micro-grids in integrated energy service, offshore wind power solutions and digitization of the power sector.
