Meng Zhenping Holds Video Conference Meeting with Richard Lancaster

Guangzhou - On March 3, Meng Zhenping, Board Chairman of China Southern Power Grid had a video meeting with Richard Lancaster, CEO of CLP Holdings Ltd.
During the video meeting, the two parties discussed further cooperation opportunities and exchanged greetings for the Year of the Ox.
Zhang Wenfeng, Vice President of CSG, and Mrs. Betty Yuen, Vice Chairman of CLP Power also attended the video meeting.
During the meeting, Mr. Meng introduced the production and operation of China Southern Power Grid during Year 2020. He said that both sides have long been strategic partners and have reached a high degree of consensus on the transition of energy business and the expansion of new energy.
Mr. Meng expressed his hope that the two sides would work cooperatively to hit the emission peak and reach carbon neutrality of the Greater Bay Area by complementing efforts. Concurrently, Mr. Meng expressed his desire to  promote the digital transformation of power grids and customer service and explore the third-party markets to achieve mutual benefits and win-win results.
Mr. Lancaster expressed his thanks for the long-term support from CSG and presented the operation of CLP Holding Limited during Year 2020. Based on the solid foundation in cooperation, he hoped to deepen the strategic partnership in the future further.
Mr. Lancaster added that the two sides, “will expand the collaboration in optimizing energy structure, smart energy consumption and charging service for electric vehicles to hit the emission marks and reach carbon neutrality for the Greater Bay Area.”
