China Huaneng and Sev.en Energy from Czech Republic Signs MOU

On April 28th, China Huaneng Group Co. Ltd. and Sev.en Energy, a company from Czech Republic, signed a Memorandum of Understandings at China Huaneng’s headquarter.

Chairman Shu Yinbiao, and Vice President Wang Min of China Huaneng, and Chairman Pavel Tykac, Supervisory Board Chairman Jan Dienstl, CEO Lubos Palvas, and Executive Director Alan Svoboda of Sev.en Energy attended the signing ceremony. Wang Min and Lubos Palvas, on behalf of the two companies, signed on the MOU.

According to the MOU, Huaneng and Sev.en Energy will exert complementary advantages, strengthen cooperation in such areas as environmental protection, energy storage, and low-carbon clean power generation technology, facilitate the sustainable development of power industry, and contribute to the construction of Belt and Road.

Before the signing ceremony, the two sides exchange views in fields such as deepening cooperation, collaborating to improve InterGen’s operation and management, and upgrading of conventional technology and equipment.

Sev.en Energy, headquartered in Czech Republic, mainly engages in coal mining, power generation, engineering services, and trading of electricity derivatives in Czech Republic’s electricity market.
