Zhang Tingke Attended the WANO Biennial Conference

From October 4th to 6th 2015, Mr. Zhang Tingke, Vice President of China Huaneng Group, attended the World Association of Nuclear Operators (WANO) Biennial Conference in Toronto, Canada. Zhang Tingke attended a series of meetings, including the WANO Atlanta Center Council Meeting, the opening ceremony of the Biennial Conference, the closed-door meeting for global nuclear power industry CEOs, and technical seminars, and has conducted in-depth discussions with industrial peers regarding the development trend of global nuclear power sector, as well as the High Temperature Gas-cooled Reactor nuclear power demonstration project.

Held once every two years, the WANO Biennial Conference is the world's largest international conference in the nuclear power industry, with most extensive influence. The Conference this year was hosted by Ontario Power Group and Bruce Power Company in Canada, with the theme of “Changing the Future of the Nuclear Industry”. More than 400 representatives from the world’s well-known nuclear power companies, such as China National Nuclear Corporation, China General Nuclear Power Corporation (CGN), China Power Investment Corporation, EDF, Duke Energy etc., attended the meeting.
