M-Type Large-scale CFB Boiler Developed by Huaneng Clean Energy Research Institute Successfully Commissioned

At 13:40, 28 of August, the No.1 generating unit (210MW) with CFB (Circulating Fluidized Bed) boiler in Datong Coal-Guodian Wangping Power Plant successfully completed 72+24 hours’ commissioning. The boiler technology is independently developed by Huaneng Clean Energy Research Institute, and it performs excellently in various indicators, marking another milestone of Circulating Fluidized Bed technology developed by Huaneng Clean Energy Research Institute.

Developed by Huaneng Clean Energy Research Institute, and manufactured by China Western Power Industrial Co., Ltd., the CFB boiler adopts M-type layout, with maximum continuous evaporation capacity of 725t/h, and features a compact structure, single furnace and low flow rate of furnace gas, etc. This is China’s first M-Type Large-scale Circulating Fluidized Bed Boiler, equipped with FAC air-water combined slag cooler and furnace desulphurization system, with intellectual property rights of Huaneng Clean Energy Research Institute.
