CDT held monthly scheduling meeting for overseas epidemic prevention and control in August

On August 19, CDT held the monthly video scheduling meeting for overseas epidemic prevention and control to further coordinate the overseas epidemic prevention work, ensuring the health of overseas employees and the stability of the team and maintaining the situation of zero confirmed case and zero suspected case. Liu Guangying, Vice President of CDT and leader of the overseas epidemic prevention and control work leading group, attended the meeting and delivered a speech.

Liu Guangying pointed out that at present, the global spread of the COVID-19 epidemic is still severe. In order to ensure the safety of personnel stationed abroad, various central SOEs and overseas institutions have adopted strict epidemic prevention measures and achieved good results. The epidemic risk is under control. However, it is necessary to stay vigilant at all times, do a good job in overseas work in the new era, prevent risks derived from epidemic prevention. Units at all levels must consolidate the current good situation of zero confirmed case and zero suspected case, implement the main responsibilities, coordinate the promotion of overseas epidemic prevention and control and business development, and win the battle against overseas epidemic with a "normalized" mindset, so that CDT's high-quality development year mission goals can be accomplished.

The meeting invited Gao Jinbao, the counselor of the Chinese Embassy in Sao Tome and Principe, to share his views on the epidemic prevention and control through video conference. On behalf of the Chinese Embassy in Sao Tome and Principe, he highly affirmed the contributions made by China Datang power assistance team to Sao Tome and Principe government as well as the Chinese companies in Sao Tome and Principe during the epidemic. He praised China Datang for its solid epidemic prevention work which reflects the management of SOEs and their sense of social responsibility.
