On October 18, the Second Belt and Road Energy Ministerial Conference was held in Qingdao. Liu Guangying, CDT Vice President, attended the conference on behalf of the group company.
The theme of this conference is to "Join Hands towards a Greener and More Inclusive Energy Future". Energy ministers, diplomatic envoys to China, senior officials of international organizations, and heads of major domestic energy companies and organizations conducted discussions and exchanges on important issues such as Belt and Road high-quality cooperation to promote green and low-carbon energy development, technological innovation cooperation to accelerate low-carbon energy transition, high-quality interconnection to facilitate energy trade investment, the development of green energy to promote harmonious coexistence of man and nature.
By exploring the trend of international energy cooperation which aims at promoting global energy sustainable development, the conference showcases major achievements in Belt and Road green energy international cooperation.
During the conference, best practice cases of international energy cooperation were released. Myanmar Dapein I Hydropower Project of China Datang Overseas Investment Co.,Ltd won the award under the category of improving people's livelihood.
