CHD Pushes Development forward with Powerful Production Resumption Measures

BEIJING, April 21 -- As one of the key state-owned enterprises responsible for our nation’s energy security and lifelines of the economy, CHD has always followed and adhered to the decisions and deployments made at the national level.

Looking at the production units of CHD across China, a number of major projects planned under the 13th Five-Year Plan have been restarted in various provinces, bustling construction sites can be found everywhere.

In the demonstration base for complementary renewable energy in the upstream of the Jinsha River, more than 4,400 construction personnel from CHD have returned to work. According to estimates, the four large-scale hydropower stations under construction will be able to boost the economic output of related domestic industries by more than 700 billion Yuan.

In Yunnan, Southwest China’s wind turbine with the largest single capacity, the #41 wind turbine of the Huomuliang wind power project, phase II of CHD’s Maoniuping wind farm, was successfully hoisted, creating a precedence for split hoisting above 100 meters in China.

In Guangdong, CHD’s Zengcheng Combined Cooling Heating and Power Project, the first dual-set H-class gas turbine project with the largest single capacity in China, has been officially completed, and will guarantee sufficient energy for the economic development of Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao.

In Indonesia, Cambodia, Vietnam, Russia, Zambia, Saudi Arabia and other key areas of focus for the Belt and Road Initiative, CHD’s overseas operations have accurately implemented outbreak prevention measures to ensure that the impact of the pandemic is kept to a minimum; And have maintained the standards in safety, quality, time efficiency in order to promote brand value and corporate image. Thus far, CHD’s coal, science, technology and engineering, finance and other industrial sectors and 105 infrastructure projects at home and abroad have all resumed production.
