CHD Supports Outbreak Prevention through Reliable Power Supply

It is of great significance for the overall situation of epidemic prevention and control to ensure the stable operation of energy in times like these. By imposing no limits on electricity, heat nor has there been any shutdowns, CHD had managed to build a "steel fort" to fight against the pandemic promptly, ensuring energy supply and serving economic development.

In the main battlefield of Hubei Province, more than 2,400 active cadres and workers are working together in five regional thermal power enterprises and eight new energy projects, focusing on epidemic prevention and control, unit operation, maintenance and troubleshooting, fuel supply and heating services, giving full play to their roles as the largest thermal power enterprises in Hubei. In the first quarter, CHD’s Hubei company had generated 5.362 TWH of electricity and supplied 1.3521 million GJ of heat.

 In the service area that spans across more than 30 provinces (municipalities and autonomous regions) covered by CHD, tens of thousands of workers stick to their duties, giving in full play to ensure safe and reliable operation at the 68 co-generation enterprises shouldering the task on nearly 620 million square meters of heating in Northern China. In the first quarter, the accumulated amount of power generated by CHD accounted 126.191 TWH, while the number for heating accounted 172.68 million GJ, ensuring adequate and reliable supply of power and heating.
