Yu Bing goes to Argentina on inspection tour

CHD Member of Party Leadership Group and Vice President Yu Bing went to Argentina on inspection tour for conducting in-depth studies of some power projects and local power markets, and meeting with local government officials on June 12 to 18.

Yu Bing visited Chinese ambassador to Argentina Zou Xiaoli and Chinese commercial counselor to Argentina Xia Diya in Buenos Aires, capital of Argentina. He introduced CHD international business strategies and the the projects CHD is following and called for embassy’s support and instructions. Zou Xiaoli introduced Argentine political and economic situation and said that CHD’s investment in local power sector will help to ease power shortfall and hoped that CHD would undertake solid preliminary preparations for smooth implementation.

When meeting with Argentine Minister of Treasury Nicolás Dujovne and Minister of Interior Affairs Rogelio Frigerio, Yu Bing introduced CHD development and international business strategies. He stressed that CHD attaches great importance to the relevant projects and intended to promote preparatory work by checking sites of these projects and called on Argentine governments to support CHD. Ministers Dujovne and  Frigerio both stated that two countries have established a close strategic partnership and that Argentine economy is on the rebound and enjoys stable and consistent energy policies. They welcomed CHD investment in Argentina and pledged to provide support and help.

While in Argentina, Yu Bing also visited Siemens local operation center for gas turbines and relevant energy enterprises and conducted exchanges with Argentine CAMMESA.

Heads of relevant departments and China Huadian Engineering Co.,Ltd. also joined the inspection team.
