On October 18 and 19, CHD Board Member and President Wen Shugang attended the first Belt and Road Energy Ministerial Conference in Suzhou, Jiangsu Province and 2018 Forum on Global Production Capacity Cooperation in Central China in Wuhan, Hubei province.
The Belt and Road Energy Ministerial Conference was hosted by National Energy Administration on October 18, 2018 in Suzhou, Jiangsu Province, China, which gathered ministers and officials of 29 energy administrations, representatives from 7 international organizations, delegates from energy enterprises and relevant experts. In an interview with China Electric Power News during the conference, Wen Shugang introduced CHD’s implementation of the Belt and Road initiative and progress of speeding up international development.
The 2018 Forum on Global Production Capacity Cooperation in Central China, the largest and highest-level event held by Chinese ministries and local governments for cooperation on global production capacity, convened in Wuhan, Hubei province on Oct 19, bring together over 2500 delegates from China and nearly 100 countries. Wen Shugang attended main sessions and witnessed a signing of strategic cooperation between Huadian Hubei subsidiary and EDF China. Between sessions, Wen Shugang also discussed with officials from 5 provinces of central China on deepening local cooperation and promoting quality development for mutual benefits.
