Yun Bing meets with South African Limpopo Premier Chupu?Stanley?Mathabatha

China Huadian Corporation (CHD) Vice President Yu Bing met with a delegation led by Chupu Stanley Mathabatha, Limpopo province premier of South Africa and discussed cooperation on power projects in Limpopo province on Sept 5.

Yu Bing welcomed the delegation and briefed them CHD and overseas business development, adding that at the recent BRICS summit in South Africa in this July and the Beijing Summit of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation, both heads of states agreed to bring strategic partnership to a new level, which present opportunities for deepening cooperation between CHD and Limpopo province. CHD is now actively responding to the Belt and Road initiative and is marking internationalization as an major direction in process of becoming stronger, better and larger, he noted. He also encouraged two sides to strengthen cooperation for realizing mutual benefits and win-win results.

Limpopo premier Mathabatha appreciated CHD’s active participation and introduced local mineral resources and special economic zone, adding that both China and South Africa are at their best time for developing in history and that two sides should strengthen exchanges and promote project process through mutual support and coordination.

Directors of departments from group company, heads from relevant subsidiaries and representatives from South African Energy Metallurgical Base Co., Ltd . Also attended the meeting.
