On December 23, the newly built Fengjie power plant (wholly owned by Huadian Power International Corporation Limited) put its No.2 generating unit through an 168-hour full-load test run. This marks the beginning of production of Huadian’s first electric power supply project in Chongqing Municipality, realizing commissioning two units in 2016 on schedule.
Main power facilities were first installed in September 2014. During test run, two units generated power totaling 145586.6 MWh, 6.8% of which for plant itself, with emission concentration of NOx standing at 68mg/Nm3, SO2 at 10mg/Nm3, and fine dust at 2.31mg/Nm3. All economical and technological indicators are among leading level of same kind units in China.
