No.2 unit of Tumet 2×660MW air-cooling units completed 168 hours of test run at 17:00, June 30, marking full commission of two units owned by Huadian Inner Mongolia Energy Company.
The project was approved by National Development and Reform Commission on March 7, 2014 and went into construction phase on March 25, 2014. No.1 unit completed 168-hour test run at 17:00, April 24, 2016. As a pillar project of West Inner Mongolia grid, the power plant can produce up to 9billion Kwh of electric power per year after commission.
