Li Qingkui met with guests from Demeter AWE Holdings

Chairman of Board, Secretary of Party Leadership Group Li Qingkui met with Shalom Simhon, Chairman & Co-Founder of Demeter AWE Holdings Ltd, President of China AWAITS at headquarters in Beijing on April 11, exchanging views on strengthening cooperation.

Li Qingkui welcomed Shalom Simhon and briefly introduced China’s power sector trends and CHD profile. He said that China put forward “innovation, coordination, green, open, sharing”, a five-pronged development idea to be implemented during the 13th five-year period, seeking innovation as growth engine to lead future growth, clean and efficiency as key direction for energy sector development. As its active response to central government’s requirements and the five-pronged idea, CHD vigorously adjust industrial structure，improve quality, and increase returns. In the meantime, CHD fully taps into markets and resources at home and abroad and links its own global growth with implementing national strategy, improving local energy supply and people benefits. CHD has projects undergoing in a dozen countries along the “One Belt, One Road” route, according to Li. Israel is an innovative country and has cutting-edge technology of seawater desalination, energy efficiency and environmental protection. He expected two sides to strengthen exchanges and expand cooperation in power generation and clean use of coal to advance mutual development.

Shalom Simhon mentioned that he was impressed by Huadian’s exhibition hall and was fully aware of Chinese enterprise strength, which made him looking forward to future cooperation.  

Heads of relevant departments and subsidiaries also attended the meeting.
