CHD Chairman of the Board, Secretary of Party Leadership Group Li Qingkui visited Sri Lanka Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe and his delegation, exchanging views on energy cooperation in Sri Lanka on April, 8th.
Li Qingkui briefly introduced CHD and its overseas business. He said that CHD links its growth with energy supply and well-being of people in Southeast Asia as its active response to the national Belt and Road initiative and has launched plenty of energy cooperation projects in this area. He vowed to support Sri Lanka electric power industry with CHD rich experience and presence in power plants investment, construction, maintenance and operation.
Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe introduced his country’s electric power system and welcomed CHD to join efforts in Sri Lanka power sector. He expected two sides to strengthen exchanges and deepen communication for cooperation and win-win results.
Heads of relevant departments and subsidiaries also attended the meeting.
