China Energy Names 82 Model Workers and Inaugurates Craftsmanship Innovation Studios

China Energy recently named its first group of 82 “model workers” including Zhang Li and inaugurated craftsmanship innovation studios. The head of each innovation studio shall be a model worker at the provincial and ministerial level or above, a winner of the May 1st Labor Medal, or an experienced technician who has special expertise, great innovation capacity and theoretical accomplishment. The company allots each innovation studio a specialized startup fund of 150,000 yuan.

In 2019, the Temporary Methods for the Establishment and Management of Innovation Studios Led by Model Workers and Experienced Technicians of China Energy Investment Corporation was formulated and enacted, in an effort to encourage employees to carry out technical innovation and give full play to the demonstration and leading role of model workers and experienced technicians in technological innovation. The move has inspired its employees to constantly improve their innovation capacity, facilitated the cultivation of technical talent that the enterprise urgently needs, and helped the inheritance of superb techniques and expertise through tutoring, assistance and teaching, providing human resources and technical support for China Energy to build a world-class energy conglomerate with global competitiveness. The selection and approval of innovation studios is held once every two years. China Energy will choose the best ones from candidates recommended by its subsidiary companies and name them innovation studios.
