China Energy Donates RMB30 Million to Help Fight Coronavirus Epidemic

As of January 28, China Energy Investment Corporation had donated 30 million yuan to the Red Cross Society of Hubei Province to support Hubei in the fight against the pneumonia epidemic caused by novel coronavirus infections.

Since the outbreak began, China Energy has resolutely implemented the major policies and decisions of the CPC Central Committee and the State Council, and immediately held a special meeting to set up a steering group to help address the epidemic, ensure normal production and operation of the company, and secure power supply in the affected areas.

Hubei-based enterprises under the group corporation have responded quickly by establishing an epidemic monitoring network, strengthening measures for epidemic prevention and control, carefully deploying power and heating supply under special circumstances, ensuring safe production and operation, and actively cooperating with local governments to prevent and control the epidemic.
