Five China Energy Employees Honored as National Outstanding Young Professionals

Recently, five employees from China Energy subsidiaries were awarded honorary titles including “National Young Professional Pacesetter” for Wang Lin from Shenhua Ningxia Coal Industry Group and “National Outstanding Young Professional” for Zhao Lei from Pingzhuang Coal Industry Group, Liu Jun from Shenhua Wuhai Energy, Lin Qimeng from Jiangsu Company and Lin Yilong from Fujian Company, respectively.

In recent years, China Energy has been actively encouraging young employees to grow professionally and make achievements in their jobs. The company has enhanced selection and fostering of advanced young workers, carried out a series of activities including “Youth May 4th Medal” selection, Young Chief Officers Contest, and Youth Contest for Innovation and Efficiency, organized its young employees to participate in the “Rejuvenation Cup” National Youth Vocational Skills Competition and the group’s skills competitions, and fostered a number of outstanding young technical backbones, demonstrating the capabilities and spirit of young employees of the company. China Energy called on young people at all levels to learn from the National Outstanding Young Professional (Pacesetter) award winners to contribute to the building of a world-class energy conglomerate with global competitiveness.

A total of 50 National Young Professional Pacesetters and 760 National Outstanding Young Professionals were named this year. Launched in 1994, the award event is a signature initiative for talent development jointly organized by the Communist Youth League of China and human resources and social security departments at various levels. Over the past more than 20 years, it has selected a great number of outstanding young workers as role models for the younger generation and society at large, advocating commitment and dedication to jobs.
